THE FOLLOWING MINUTES ARE SUBJECT TO MODIFICATION AND ARE NOT OFFICIAL MINUTES UNTIL APPROVED BY THE SPRING HILL PARKS ADVISORY BOARD Spring Hill Parks Advisory Board March 15, 2021 CALL TO ORDER Secretary, Dora Davison called the meeting to order at 7:07 p.m. Board Members in Attendance: Chris Cabe Heather Dubon Tommy Holland Board Members Absent: Doug D’Albini Caitlin Downey Staff in Attendance: Dillon Jones, Parks Superintendent Dora Davison, Administrative Assistant – Public Works PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. ROLL CALL The Secretary called the roll of the Parks Advisory Board. With a quorum present, the meeting commenced. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Tommy Holland, seconded by Chris Cabe, to approve the agenda. Motion carried. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION None FORMAL BOARD ITEMS Approval of Minutes: October 19, 2020 Motion by Tommy Holland, seconded by Heather Dubon, to approve the October 19, 2020 meeting minutes. Motion carried. DISCUSSION  Welcome of new members, members were asked to review Roberts Rules of Order.  Members were asked to consider nominations for Chairman, Vice Chair and Secretary. Election of positions will take place at the next meeting.  Legacy Park and Program description was provided by Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones will provide members preliminary application and any additional information to have a more in-depth conversation at the April meeting. Mr. Jones encouraged members to brainstorm fundraising opportunities to aid the success of the project.
