THE FOLLOWING MINUTES ARE SUBJECT TO MODIFICATION AND ARE NOT OFFICIAL MINUTES UNTIL APPROVED BY THE SPRING HILL PARKS ADVISORY BOARD Spring Hill Parks Advisory Board September 20, 2021 CALL TO ORDER Vice-Chairperson called the meeting to order at 6:57 p.m. Board Members in Attendance: Chris Cabe Heather Dubon Katie Sparks Caitlin Downey Board Members Absent: Tommy Holland Staff in Attendance: Jackie Messer, Public Works Director Gabi Kempf, Facility Manager PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. ROLL CALL The Vice-Chairperson called the roll of the Parks Advisory Board. With a quorum present, the meeting commenced. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Heather Dubon, seconded by Katie Sparks, to approve the agenda. Motion carried. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION None FORMAL BOARD ITEMS Approval of Minutes: 8/16/21 August minutes will be considered at October meeting. DISCUSSION • Fall Festival will take place September 25th. The Department and Board will giveaway various items at department booth. • Legacy Park nomination process will be considered at October meeting. STAFF REPORT • Public Works Department is undergoing some internal restructuring. • Veterans Park Memorial design was discussed.
