THE FOLLOWING MINUTES ARE SUBJECT TO MODIFICATION AND ARE NOT OFFICIAL MINUTES UNTIL APPROVED BY THE SPRING HILL PARKS ADVISORY BOARD Spring Hill Parks Advisory Board August 16, 2021 CALL TO ORDER Chairman, Tommy Holland called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Board Members in Attendance: Chris Cabe Heather Dubon Tommy Holland Caitlin Downey Katie Sparks Board Members Absent: None Staff in Attendance: Dillon Jones, Parks Superintendent Jackie Messer, Public Works Director PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. ROLL CALL The Secretary called the roll of the Parks Advisory Board. With a quorum present, the meeting commenced. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Heather Dubon, seconded by Chris Cabe, to approve the agenda. Motion carried. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION None FORMAL BOARD ITEMS Approval of Minutes: 7/19/21 Motion by Heather Dubon, seconded by Katie Sparks, to approve the meeting minutes. Motion carried. DISCUSSION • Fall Festival will take place September 25, 2021. The Board will have a booth at the event and give away seasonal plants. • Hometown Holiday will take place in December. The Board has traditionally supplied the cookies and hot chocolate for the event. Member consensus to do so again this year. • Legacy Park nomination process deferred to September meeting for consideration. Will be submitted to the City for consideration. • Spring Hill Aquatic Center- 2021 season has ended. ADJOURN Motion by Caitlin Downey, seconded by Heather Dubon, to adjourn. Motion carried.
