This public hearing is being held receive comments in reference to:
1. Conditional Use Request to allow a Senior Living facility or a Daycare Facility at 601 N. Ash
Street, parcel S100-56.
2. Request to rezone 30.3 acres more or less, known as parcels S115-2TPO and S115-2D located
near Ga Hwy 21 and Beebe Rd in from R-1 Zoning to R-2 for & R-4 Zoning.
3. Request for a Variance to reduce the buffer requirements for a portion of Parcel S115-2TPO
located near Ga Hwy 21 and Beebe Rd.
4. Request for a Special Exemption for (a) a one-foot reduction in minimum lot width and (b) a
twenty foot reduction in minimum distance between buildings for portion of parcel S115-2TPO
and S115-2D currently requesting rezoning to R-2 zoning classification.
5. Request for Conditional Use to allow commercial painting business located at Parcel S131-2
located on GA Hwy 21.

c. Consideration to approve updated City of Springfield Zoning Map and Authorize Mayor to sign
the same.
d. Consideration to appoint a member to the Ethics Committee to fill the unexpired term of James
Sapp.
e. Consideration to Appoint an Alternate to the Planning & Zoning Board.
f. Consideration to approve Purchase of Christmas Decorations from SPLOST funds not to
exceed $40,000.
g. Consideration to Approve Resolution R2023-14: Georgia Municipal Association Certified City
of Ethics
h. Consideration to approve Resolution R2023-15: Initiate the Process to Amend the Zoning
Ordinance as it relates to Auto Brokerage as an allowable use in Commercial Use Districts
i. Consideration to approve Resolution R2023-16: Initiate the Process to Amend the Zoning
Ordinance as it relates to Organization and Procedures of the Planning and Zoning Board
