The Board of Public Works will hold its regular meeting Monday, March 26, 2018 at 5:00 pm on

B. Authorization to enter into a construction contract with the lowest responsible
bidder for the Elm Street & Sibley Culvert Replacements Project
C. Authorization to Implement the Use of a Contractor Performance Evaluation
Report
D. Authority to Acquire Right-of-Way for the Cole Creek Flood Reduction
Project
E. Authority to enter into an Agreement with Norfolk Southern Railway
Company to replace the railroad bridge for the Cole Creek Flood Reduction
Project
F. Authorization to enter into an Engineering Services Contract with Horner &
Shifrin for the Benton Avenue Storm Sewer Project in an amount not to exceed

A. Authorization to enter into Amendment No. 1 of an Engineering Services Contract for
Lime Sludge Lagoon Relocation with Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. in the amount
of $68,800.00, total contract amount not to exceed $166,140.00
B. Authorization to enter into a contract with Navistar, Inc., for the purchase of two (2)
2019 International 7400 SFA 4x2, 35,000 G.V.W.R single-axle dump trucks with dump
body, snow plow, and salt spreader in an amount not to exceed $295,202.18
C. Authorization to enter into Amendment No. 1 of a Purchase Contract for Elm Point
Water Treatment Plant Filter Control Modifications with Ross and Baruzzini, Inc. in
the amount of $10,500.00, total contract amount not to exceed $39,000.00
D. Authorization to enter into Contracts with Cogent, Inc. DBA Vandevanter Engineering
and with Municipal Equipment Company, Inc. for the purchase of Spare Pumps for Lift
Stations for Public Works in amounts not to exceed $10,488.00 and $52,033.00,
respectively, in a total amount not to exceed $62,521.00
E. Authorization to enter into Amendment No. 1 of an Engineering Services Contract for
Water Hammer and Surge Tank Study with Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. in the
amount of $6,740.00, total contract amount not to exceed $104,640.00
F. Approval to publish updated Standard Pump Design and Construction Requirements
G. Monthly Report Relative to Operation of the Water Division
H. Monthly Report Relative to Operation of Wastewater Treatment Facilities
I. Monthly Report on Status of New Town Vacuum System
J. Monthly Report on the Sanitary Sewer Lateral Insurance Program
