Discussion Regarding Ways The City Can Assist Residents During The Federal Government Shutdown 3. Closed Session, if requested, relative to: A. Legal actions, causes of action, or litigation involving a public governmental body and any confidential or privileged communications between a public governmental body and its attorneys (RSMo 610.021 (1)) B. Leasing, purchase or sale of real estate where public knowledge of the transaction might adversely affect the legal consideration therefor (RSMo 610.021 (2)) C. Hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting of particular employees when information relating to the performance or merit of individual employees is discussed or recorded (RSMo 610.021 (3)) D. Staff has been developing ideas for ways that the City can assist residents during this challenging time. One of the initial initiatives that staff organized and put into place within 24 hours was the "Fillthe Truck" food drive on Main Street during Halloween Trick-or-Treating. Staff will present details about several other initiative the City is working on as well as solicit ideas and feedback from the Council.
