Richard Purgahn. The applicant is requesting approval to install a combination picket and shadow box style fence in the rear yard. Structure Review Section 400.1180 Purpose The purpose of this subchapter is to protect, enhance, and perpetrate buildings, structures, districts, and sites of historical, cultural, architectural, engineering or geographic significance. Further, protection of cultural assets from demolition by neglect is an objective of this subchapter. Please note: Obtaining a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Landmarks Board does not authorize the applicant to build a structure. Building permits are required prior to construction. The applicants are requesting an extension to the May 11, 2015, approval of the construction of an addition on the rear elevation. The applicant is requesting approval of replacement windows and a water repellent coating for the masonry. The applicant is requesting after-the-fact approval to install lighting for the outdoor patio dining area on the south side of the building.
