On Monday, March 20, 2017, at 6:00 p.m., the City of St. Charles Landmarks Board will hold
its regular monthly meeting in the Council Chambers on the fourth floor of City Hall, 200
North Second Street, St. Charles, Missouri. The agenda for this meeting is as follows:

applicants are requesting approval to replace the wood roofing shingles with

applicant is requesting approval to replace the balustrade on the existing stairway

5. Structure Review
Section 400.1180 Purpose
The purpose of this subchapter is to protect, enhance, and perpetrate buildings,
structures, districts, and sites of historical, cultural, architectural, engineering or

geographic significance. Further, protection of cultural assets from demolition by
neglect is an objective of this subchapter.
Please note: Obtaining a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Landmarks Board
does not authorize the applicant to build a structure. Building permits are required
prior to construction.
(A) Case No. C/A 2017-13(EC). 1825 North Fourth Street. Catherine Eberle. The
applicant is requesting after-the-fact approval of a privacy fence. [Extended Hitoric
Preservation District, Ward 1]
(B) Case No. C/A 2017-12(EC). 201 South Main Street. James Briem. The applicant
is requesting after-the-fact approval to replace three windows in the rear wing.

Yahl. The applicants are requesting approval of a revision to the previously-
