Guy Albrecht. The applicant is requesting approval to constructed a deck on the rear elevation of this 1960 ranch house. The applicants are requesting approval to replace the existing fence with a 7-foot tall cedar privacy fence topped by aluminum pickets. The applicant is requesting approval to re-face an existing sign for his business, Midwest Massage. [Frenchtown Preservation District, Ward 1] 3. Items Removed from the Consent Agenda 4. Structure Review Section 400.1180 Purpose The purpose of this subchapter is to protect, enhance, and perpetrate buildings, structures, districts, and sites of historical, cultural, architectural, engineering or geographic significance. Further, protection of cultural assets from demolition by neglect is an objective of this subchapter. Please note: Obtaining a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Landmarks Board does not authorize the applicant to build a structure. Building permits are required prior to construction. (A) Case No. C/A 2018-02(EC). 318 Houston Street. Brandon Bybee. The applicant is requesting approval to replace the windows. The applicant is requesting approval to remove two frame additions and to build two new brick additions.
