On Monday, December 11, 2017, at 6:00 p.m., the City of St. Charles Landmarks Board will
hold its regular monthly meeting in the Council Chambers on the fourth floor of City Hall,
200 North Second Street, St. Charles, Missouri. The agenda for this meeting is as follows:
Attention Applicants: It is necessary that you or a knowledgeable representative of your interests be
present at the meeting to answer any questions the Board may have concerning your application.
Failure to provide answers to the Board’s questions may result in your application being tabled or
denied.

requesting approval to build a screen-enclosed porch on the rear elevation.

5. Structure Review
Section 400.1180 Purpose
The purpose of this subchapter is to protect, enhance, and perpetrate buildings,
structures, districts, and sites of historical, cultural, architectural, engineering or
geographic significance. Further, protection of cultural assets from demolition by
neglect is an objective of this subchapter.
Please note: Obtaining a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Landmarks Board
does not authorize the applicant to build a structure. Building permits are required
prior to construction.
(A) TABLED AT THE OCTOBER 16, 2017, MEETING
Case No. 2017-28(SP). 903 North Fifth Street. Joe Prouhet & Pam Russina, Flip
This, LLC. The applicants are requesting approval to construct a new single-family
residence with attached garage. [Commons Preservation District, Ward 1]
(B) Case No. C/A 2017-75(EC). 630 Clark Street. Russell Ede. The applicant is
requesting approval to repair the dormers and front porch. [Commons Preservation
District, Ward 1]
(C) Case No. C/A 2017-77(EC). 830 Monroe Street. Kristen Smith. The applicant is
requesting approval to replace some of the windows and install a chain link fence.
