LANDMARKS BOARD AGENDA FOR REGULAR MEETING January 14th, 2019 LANDMARKS BOARD: Steve Martin, Chairperson Tom Kuypers, Vice Chair Denise Mitchell, Secretary Michelle Beucke Cheryl Primm Gene Wood Sherilyn Blair Chris Black Tom Besselman, Council Liaison Mesdames and Gentlemen: On Monday, January 14th, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., the City of St. Charles Landmarks Board will hold its regular monthly meeting in the Council Chambers on the fourth floor of City Hall, 200 North Second Street, St. Charles, Missouri. The agenda for this meeting is as follows: Attention Applicants: It is necessary that you or a knowledgeable representative of your interests be present at the meeting to answer any questions the Board may have concerning your application. Consent Agenda (A) Case No. C/A 2018-124(EC). 729 North Second Street. Jill and Todd Ryan. The applicant is requesting approval to install new doors and shutters on north facade. The applicant is requesting approval to install a 42” black metal fencing in north and south side yards. The applicant is requesting approval to install a six-foot wood privacy fence. Jay Reeves. The applicant is requesting approval to install a new two-story storefront system and handicap ramp. The applicant is requesting after the fact approval to install board and batten siding on the garage. [Extended Historic Preservation District, Ward 1] (H) Case No. C/A 2019-01(EC). 615 South Main Street. Daniel Borgmeyer. The applicant is requesting to do general maintenance on the property. Sign Permit Applications (A) Permit No. 19-0041. 524 South Main Street. Robert Greve. The applicant is requesting approval for one wall sign for the business, “Mary’s House of Healing”. [Landmarks Preservation District, Ward 1] 5. Structure Review Section 400.1180 Purpose The purpose of this subchapter is to protect, enhance, and perpetrate buildings, structures, districts, and sites of historical, cultural, architectural, engineering or geographic significance. Further, protection of cultural assets from demolition by neglect is an objective of this subchapter. Please note: Obtaining a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Landmarks Board does not authorize the applicant to build a structure. Building permits are required prior to construction. None 6.
