LANDMARKS BOARD AGENDA FOR REGULAR MEETING July 15th, 2019 LANDMARKS BOARD: Steve Martin, Chairperson Tom Kuypers, Vice Chair Denise Mitchell, Secretary Michelle Beucke Chris Black Tom Besselman, Council Liaison Mesdames and Gentlemen: On Monday, July 15th, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., the City of St. Charles Landmarks Board will hold its regular monthly meeting in the Council Chambers on the fourth floor of City Hall, 200 North Second Street, St. Charles, Missouri. Structure Review Section 400.1180 Purpose The purpose of this subchapter is to protect, enhance, and perpetrate buildings, structures, districts, and sites of historical, cultural, architectural, engineering or geographic significance. Further, protection of cultural assets from demolition by neglect is an objective of this subchapter. Please note: Obtaining a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Landmarks Board does not authorize the applicant to build a structure. Building permits are required prior to construction. (A) Case No. C/A 2019-044(EC). 132 North Main Street. Tony Bethmann. The applicant is requesting approval to replace fourteen wooden posts with metal posts on a second-floor front gallery porch.
