Mesdames and Gentlemen:
On Wednesday, January 15th, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., the City of St. Charles Landmarks Board will
hold its regular monthly meeting in the Council Chambers on the fourth floor of City Hall,
200 North Second Street, St. Charles, Missouri. The agenda for this meeting is as follows:
Attention Applicants: It is necessary that you or a knowledgeable representative of your interests be
present at the meeting to answer any questions the Board may have concerning your application.
Failure to provide answers to the Board’s questions may result in your application being tabled or
denied.

2. Consent Agenda
(A) Case No. C/A 2019-121(EC). 320 Tompkins Street. Kenneth West. The applicant
is requesting approval to install new windows. [Extended Historic Preservation

(B) Case No. C/A 2019-021(SP). 907 South Fourth Street. Joe Rock. The applicant is
requesting approval to construct a single car, frame garage. [Extended Historic
Preservation District, Ward 2]
(C) Case No. C/A 2020-001(EC). 1128 North Fourth Street. Ashley & Gerard Brodeur.
The applicant is requesting approval to install a new roof, gutters, and front steps.

5. Structure Review
Section 400.1180 Purpose
The purpose of this subchapter is to protect, enhance, and perpetrate buildings,
structures, districts, and sites of historical, cultural, architectural, engineering or
geographic significance. Further, protection of cultural assets from demolition by
neglect is an objective of this subchapter.
Please note: Obtaining a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Landmarks Board
does not authorize the applicant to build a structure. Building permits are required
prior to construction.
(A) Case No. C/A 2019-120(EC). 1009 North Kingshighway Street. Cynthia Long. The
applicant is requesting approval to install solar panels on south roof slope [Extended
Historic Preservation District, Ward 7]
(B) Case No. C/A 2019-119(EC). 927 Tompkins Street. C.W. Woods. The applicant is
requesting approval to construct a second-story addition. [Extended Historic
Preservation District, Ward 2]

The next regular meeting of the Landmarks Board is scheduled for
Monday, February 10th, 2020
The submittal deadline for the February 10th meeting is January 27th, 2020
(January 30th, 2020, for signs)
