MINUTES of the JOINT MEETING of the TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE and TOWN BOARD December 19, 2023 - 6:00PM CALL TO ORDER by Chair John Ringhofer at 6:01 pm STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE read by Chair. ROLL CALL: Chair John Ringhofer, Mary Tyson, Teri Kelly, Anton Rang; Online: Laurie DeRosier PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE recited ADOPTION OF AGENDA: MOTION to adopt the agenda of the Technology Committee (Rang/Ringhofer). Motion carried. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Technology Committee Minutes of 11-28-2023: MOTION to approve the minutes from the November 28, 2023 (Ringhofer/Rang). Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Anton Rang stated that the “submit an issue” link on the website is not working. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION and/or ACTIONS BY COMMITTEE 1. Ongoing Items  Sunnylink updates: Clerk has not received an update from Tim Whiteside. Will send Tim’s contact information to John Ringhofer. o Disaster Recovery/Cloud Backup  Google Drive/Shared Storage Solution: John will prepare the document to include that the Clerk is the facilitator of the Google Drive. o Document management  Town Hall update: o Clerk provided updates as follows:  Bruce (Stantec) has set the plans for a separate HVAC system for the IT room  The south roof will be set up for solar  Bruce has a meeting setup with Tim Whiteside (Sunnylink) to verify lines, drops, etc. o Backup power to the new building:  same generator (routing power and right equipment in new building);  solar power;  small separate generator; or  UPSs for new building  Review IT Budget: the 2024 budget is set at $12,000 RECOMMENDATIONS TO TOWN BOARD: None ITEMS FOR NEXT AGENDA: Sunnylink updates; Password management DATE OF NEXT MEETING: January 23, 2024 ADJOURNMENT: MOTION to adjourn at 6:27 pm (Rang/Tyson).
