Town of St. Joseph- St. Croix County, WI Minutes for the Finance Committee Meeting and Town Board St. Joseph Town Hall July 16, 2024 Call to Order by Chair Bob Marty at 6:00 pm Pledge of Allegiance recited Statement of Public Notice read by Clerk Roll Call: Chair Bob Marty, Theresa Johnson, Deb Weber, Teri Kelly. Not Present: Deb Buerkley, Anton Rang, Zac Spates Adoption of the Agenda: MOTION to adopt the agenda as presented (Johnson/Weber). Motion carried. Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes: MOTION to approve the Minutes (Johnson/Weber). Motion carried. Public Comment: None Items for committee discussion and/or action: 1. Review of 2024 budget year to date: Discussed current 2024 budget to date with updates, including animal control, road maintenance, and Town Hall Park. 2. Review of 2023 Audit: Audit was reviewed by the members, no questions or concerns at this time. 3. Review of all bank accounts since April 9, 2024: No issues or concerns to report at this time. All reconciliations have been going well. 4. Review of loan commitments: Reviewed the loan commitments and there are no concerns at this time. Zac Spates present at 6:13 pm: Discussed fire signs with Zac Spates. Zac stated the Fire Department budget is on track at this time. 5. Update of 10-year plan: discussed the updated 10-year plan spreadsheet. Clerk and Matt Moore will work on updating the future projections. 6. Financing and update w/expenses for Town Hall: Reviewed the building spreadsheet and current financial situation. Discussed the project timeline. Items for next Finance Committee or Town Board Agenda: Remove audit, add preliminary 2025 budget.
