City Council Regular Meeting

CITY OF STAR SPECIAL  COUNCIL MEETING August 23, 1999 The Star City Council met in special session on August 23, 1999. Mayor Watson presiding. Roll call: Amsden, O’Connor, Kirtley, Dias. Absent: Pearson, Winkle NEW BUSINESS: Mule Days Event: After discussion a motion was made by Kirtley and seconded by O’Connor for the City of Star to sponsor the “Mule Day” event. All aye: motion carried. State Highway System Agreement: The City Attorney submitted, by fax, Resolution 99-13, and asked that if the Council agreed to sponsor the event the Resolution should be adopted. Moved by Amsden and seconded by O’Connor to adopt Resolution 99-13, an agreement with the State Transportation Dept. for the use of Highway 44 (State St.) for the parade portion of the event. Roll call on the motion is as follows: Aye: Amsden, O’Connor, Kirtley, ,Dias. Motion carried. Moved by Kirtley and seconded by O’Connor to adjourn the meeting.
