STAR SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING December 3, 1998 7:00 p.m. Star Elementary School Library The Star City Council met in Special session on December 3, 1998, for workshop on the upcoming Comprehensive Plan and Impact Area. Mayor Watson presiding. Roll call: Amsden, O'Connor, Embury, Ross, Winkle. Absent: Kirtley. Introduction of presenters and committee members, presented by Councilman John Embury. Presentation on “where we are in the process” presented by Councilman John Embury. “What is a comprehensive plan and why do one?” presented by Teri Ottens, Planner, Association Management Solutions “What is Ada County’s role?” presented by Patricia Nilsson, Planner, Ada County Development Services. Proposed Impact Area and Land Use Map, presented by Dennis Stegenga. Councilman O’Connor gave closing remarks.
