City of Star Historic Committee – Meeting Minutes Date: [02/04/2026] Time: [4:04PM] Location: [East Meeting Room] 1. Roll Call [Matt Vraspir, Ron Ishii, Lynn Davis, Jane Raynor, Rick Chromey] 2. Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes • Approved unanimously Moved by Rick, Seconded by Lynn 3. Member Reports • Lynn introduced a potential new member: Julie Corley • Lynn dropped off posters to Owyhee High School, Star Elementary, and Star Middle • Lynn reaching out to the Library for three possible dates to showcase Oral Histories • Rick and Matt determined that the Riverhouse setup will work for presentations • Rick is excited for his upcoming presentations on Feb 10th and 19th. • Ron and committee provided updates on questions regarding historic overlay • Ron wants a larger, better space for the Star Historic Museum. 4. Building Updates • No building updates at this time, waiting on a floor plan to provide a markup 5. America 250 Time Capsule • No clarity provided at this time about the America 250 time capsule • Committee will participate in the America 250 Banner program • Committee will participate in the America 250 mural project 6. Old Business • None at this time 7. Committee Recommendations • Committee recommends that the council appoint Julie Corley to the Star Historic Committee She was approved unanimously.
