CITY OF STERLING HEIGHTS CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 10, 2012 – 6:00 P.M. DIRECTOR’S CONFERENCE ROOM #202 Chairman Jeffery Norgrove called the meeting to order at 6:08 p.m. Members Present: Judith Foley, Jeffrey Norgrove, Paul Palmeri, Joanne Paraventi, and Janet Widrig. Members Absent: Charles Jefferson and Andrew Pulford Also in Attendance: Stephanie Burgess, HUD Program Coordinator Approval of Agenda Moved by Foley, supported by Widrig, to approve the agenda as presented. Ayes: All Nays: None Approval of Minutes Moved by Widrig, supported by Foley, to approve the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 12, 2012. Ayes: All Nays: None Role of the Citizen Advisory Committee Stephanie Burgess provided the committee members with a brief history of the Citizen Advisory Committee and the responsibilities of its members. The committee was in recess from 6:35 pm to 6:40 pm. Community Development Block Grant Program Review Progress & Performance for Fiscal Year 2011/12 Stephanie Burgess presented the 2011/12 CAPER, which reviewed the projects completed during the 2011/12-program year. Adoption of a Regular Meeting Schedule Moved by Foley, supported by Widrig, to adopt a regular meeting schedule for the 2012/13-program year. Ayes: All Nays: None Other Business Mr. Norgrove suggested that a thank you note be sent to Mr. Sieja and Mr. Zimmerman for their years of service on the Citizen Advisory Committee.
