ORDINANCE INTRODUCTION
1. To consider introduction of an ordinance amending Articles 22 and 25 of Zoning
Ordinance No. 278 to create the Commercial Redevelopment Planned Unit
Development Option and establish procedures and standards of review for
approval; Case No. Z-1120. (Presentation – City Planner)
2. To consider introduction of a map amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 278 to
conventionally rezone property on the south side of Hall Road between Hayes
Road and Windwood Drive, in Section 1, from RM-2 (Multiple Family Low Rise
District) to C-3 (General Business District); Case No. Z-1122. (Presentation – City
Planner)

3. To consider adoption of the final amendment to the Appropriations Ordinance for
the 2011/12 fiscal year.

C. To approve a schedule of regular City Council meetings for the 2012/2013
fiscal year.
D. To adopt a resolution providing for the appointment of receiving boards to
serve at elections in the city of Sterling Heights.
E. To approve final payment to Scott Williams Excavating in the amount of
$15,428.30, plus interest on retainage, for the Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer,
and Water Main Repair Project, City Project #10-215.
F. To award a bid for the 2012 Joint Sealing Program, City Project #12-229, to
Michigan Joint Sealing, for joint sealing of local streets, major roads, and
municipal parks (At a cost of $112,000).
G. To purchase library books through the Suburban Library Cooperative for
fiscal year 2012/13 (At a total cost of $80,000).
CONSIDERATION
5. To consider approval of a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of
Sterling Heights and AFSCME Local 1917 Department of Public Works
Supervisory Employees Union for the period of July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2014.

6. To consider approval of a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of
Sterling Heights and Michigan Association of Public Employees (MAPE)
Technical/Office Employees Union for the period of July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2014.

7. To consider appointments to City of Sterling Heights boards and commissions.
