NEW BUSINESS* 4.1 22-0863 DISCUSSION OF DRAFT STAFF REPORT - PUBLIC HEARING TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE 2022 REPORT ON WATER QUALITY PUBLIC HEALTH GOALS Recommended Action: RECOMMENDATION Approve forwarding the Draft Staff Report - Public Hearing to adopt a Resolution accepting the 2022 Report on Water Quality Public Health Goals to the City Council for Consideration and Approval. It is also recommended that the City Manager be authorized to take the necessary and appropriate actions to carry out the purpose and intent of this resolution. Authorize the City to enter into a Marketing Agreement with Utility Service Partners Inc. to offer the National League of Cities Service Line warranty program to homeowners in the City of Stockton's Service Area over an initial term of five (5) years; and 2. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to take appropriate and necessary actions to carry out the purpose and intent of this motion. Anyone wishing to speak on a consent item or public hearing item, please complete a “Request to Speak Card” and submit it to the Recording Secretary prior to the meeting. No speaker cards will be received after the close of the Citizen's Comments portion of the meeting. Each speaker is limited to five minutes. Speakers must be prepared to speak when called. Speakers should hold comments on items listed as a Public Hearing until the Hearing is opened. If a large number of people desire to speak at a Public Hearing, the Chair may reduce the amount of time allocated to each speaker to three (3) minutes.
