Story City, Iowa June 29, 2020 Mayor Pro-Tem Sporleder called the special council meeting to order on Monday, June 29, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall. Present: Administrator Jackson Council Members Phillips, Solberg (via conference call), Crutchfield, and Sporleder Absent: Mayor Jensen, CM Ostrem Motion by Phillips, seconded by Crutchfield, to approve the agenda. Aye: Phillips, Solberg, Crutchfield, and Sporleder Nay: None Motion Carried. Motion by Crutchfield, seconded by Phillips, to defer approval of the June 15, 2020 regular meeting minutes. Aye: Phillips, Solberg, Crutchfield, and Sporleder Nay: None Motion Carried. CITIZEN APPEARANCE None LEGAL ITEMS A) RESOLUTION NO. 20-67 – APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE FINAL PLAT OF JOHNSON TRUST SUBDIVISION, STORY CITY, IOWA Administrator Jackson reviewed the proposed subdivision and reported that explained that Planning and Zoning recommends approval. Motion by Phillips, seconded by Crutchfield, to approve Resolution No. 20- 67 – Approving and Accepting the Final Plat of Johnson Trust Subdivision, Story City, Iowa Aye: Phillips, Solberg, Crutchfield, and Sporleder Nay: None Motion Carried B) RESOLUTION NO. 20-68 – APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH MARC AND JENN PETER FOR TROPICAL SNO VENDING TRAILER LEASE AND AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE Motion by Crutchfield, seconded by Phillips to approve Resolution No. 20- 68 – Approving Agreement with Marc and Jenn Peter for Tropical Sno Vending Trailer Lease and Authorizing Mayor and City Clerk to Execute Aye: Phillips, Solberg, Crutchfield, and Sporleder Nay: None Motion Carried PERMITS A) Cigarette: 1. Dollar General – 1543 Broad Motion by Solberg, seconded by Sporleder, so approve Cigarette Permit for Dollar General- 1543 Broad.
