STORY CITY, IOWA July 12, 2021 Mayor Jensen called the special council meeting to order on July 12, 2021, at 8:30 am in City Hall. Present: Mayor Jensen, Administrator Jackson, Council Members: Ostrem, Phillips, Solberg, O’Connor, and Sporleder Absent: Attorney Larson Also Present: Tyler Fredericksen, President of Story City EDC Motion by Ostrem, seconded by Sporleder, to approve the agenda. Aye: Ostrem, Phillips, Solberg, O’Connor, and Sporleder Nay: None Motion Carried Motion by Sporleder, seconded by Solberg, to defer the July 6, 2021 regular meeting minutes. Aye: Ostrem, Phillips, Solberg, O’Connor, and Sporleder Nay: None Motion Carried LEGAL ITEMS A) RESOLUTION NO. 21-60—APPROVING PARTICIPATION IN A REAL ESTATE CONTRACT WITH STORY CITY DEVELOPMENT GROUPE, LLC, AS SELLER AND TNL DEVELOPMENT, LLC AS BUYER, AND AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAME Tyler Fredericksen presented information to the council on the real estate contract.
