STROUDSBURG BOROUGH COUNCIL JANUARY 29, 2020 SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES A special meeting of the Stroudsburg Borough Council convened at 6:01 P.M. on January 29, 2020 with the following members present: Council President Anthony Lanfrank, Vice-President of Council Matt Abell, Council President Pro-Tem Erica McCabe, Councilman Boyd Weiss, Councilman Jim Evanisko, and Councilwoman Victoria DeVries. Mayor Tarah Probst was also present. Councilman James Smith advised of his absence prior to the meeting. A motion was made by Mr. Weiss, seconded by Ms. DeVries to go in to an executive session at 6:06 P.M. for the purpose of discussing a personnel matter, specifically to interview Brian D. Ace, Jr. for the position of Borough Manager. The motion was carried with all present voting affirmatively. (6-yes; 0-no; 0-abstentions) The executive session was concluded at 6:38 P.M. on a motion made by Mr. Weiss, seconded by Mr. Evanisko. The motion was carried with all present voting affirmatively. (6-yes; 0-no; 0-abstentions) The Council interviewed Brian D. Ace, Jr. during the executive session. No action was taken. It was noted that Ms. McCabe and Mr. Weiss will meet with Christopher Fletcher, another candidate for the position of Borough Manager, at 1:30 P.M. on January 31, 2020. The Borough Council has scheduled a special meeting at 10:00 A.M. on February 1, 2020 for the purpose of interviewing Mr. Fletcher. The meeting was adjourned at 6:49 P.M. on a motion made by Mr. Weiss, seconded by Mr. Abell. The motion was carried with all present voting affirmatively. (6-yes; 0-no; 0-abstentions)
