Consent Agenda – An ordinance to accept and appropriate funds from the Commonwealth of Virginia State Board of Elections for reimbursement of Presidential Primary Election expenses incurred by the Registrar – First Reading Approved 7-0 8. S. Department of Justice and appropriating a local cash match – First Reading The public hearing was held as duly advertised. No action required- first reading only. 12. Ordinance – An ordinance amending Chapter 54 entitled “Miscellaneous Offenses” of the Code of the City of Suffolk, Virginia, to include a section regarding panhandling (This item was continued from the September15, 2004, City Council Meeting) Approved 6-1 (Council Member Milteer voted in opposition.) 13. Staff Report – Establish Storm Water Utility Committee No action required. 14.
