Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Aviation for an airport drainage study at
the Suffolk Executive Airport and to provide for a local cash match - Second Reading

11. Public Hearing - A public hearing regarding an amendment to the 2018 Comprehensive
Plan and to adopt the 2026 Comprehensive Plan
The resolution to amend and update the 2018 Comprehensive Plan by
approval of the 2026 Comprehensive Plan, with amendments, was
approved 5-2 (Vice Mayor Bennett and Council Member Jones voted in
opposition.)
12. Public Hearing - A public hearing to receive public input and receipt of sealed bids for
the sale of a parcel of real estate. The property is identified as Tax Map 12A*A*11A,
and is located on Vinyard Lane in the Arbor Meadows Subdivision, Account Number
304968200
It was the consensus of City Council that City Administration would
provide a recommendation at the April 19, 2006, City Council meeting
regarding the three bids as submitted.
13. Motion - A motion to schedule a Work Session for April 19, 2006, at 4:00 p.m., unless
canceled.

A motion to amend the agenda to consider the following items was approved
by a vote of 7-0:
An appointment to the Early Childhood Development Commission – Anne H. Fischer

14. Late Appearances - Guidelines for the Late Appearances period are outlined in the
City Code Section 2-96 and permit each speaker five (5) minutes to address City Council.
There is no limitation on the total time period for Late Appearances.
