Special Presentation - Presentation of the “Employee of the Quarter” and the “Team of the Quarter” Award for the fourth quarter of 2006 No City Council action required - Award from the City of Norfolk for the “Best Illumination” in the 2006 Grand Illumination Parade No City Council action required 5. Consent Agenda - Approval of the minutes Approved 7-0 6. Consent Agenda - An ordinance to accept and appropriate project income for the Fifth Judicial District Community Corrections Program – Second Reading Approved 7-0 7. Consent Agenda - A resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute the First Amendment to the Cooperation Agreement between the City and the Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority to implement the Hall Place Conservation Plan and Fairgrounds Redevelopment Plan Approved 7-0 8. Consent Agenda – A resolution relating to the designation of authorized signatures for banking and safety deposit box transactions at City designated depositories Approved 7-0 9. Motion - A motion to schedule a Work Session for January 17, 2007, at 4:00 p.m., unless canceled Approved 7-0 14. Motion – A motion to schedule the City Council Retreat for January 25th, 26th, and 27th 2007 Approved 7-0 15. Late Appearances – Guidelines for the Late Appearances period are outlined in the City Code Section 2-96 and permit each speaker five (5) minutes to address City Council.
