A motion to direct the City Manager to engage in negotiations with the
Nansemond Indian Tribal Association regarding the transfer of
property at Lone Star Lakes Park.
Approved 5-2 (Council Members Bennett and Brown voted in
opposition.)

10. Public Hearing - Conditional Use Permit Request, C08-07, submitted by Jeff L. Parrish
and C.J. Bodnar of Hoggard-Eure Associates on behalf of Calvary Revival Church,
applicant and Robert W. Babb, property owner, to allow a large religious assembly in
accordance with Sections 31-306 and 31-406-1 of the Unified Development Ordinance.
Approved 6-0-1 (Council Member Parr abstained.)
11. Public Hearing - Conditional Use Permit Request C10-05, submitted by GLO
Community Development Incorporated, applicant, on behalf of Eton Properties,
Incorporated, property owner, to extend the expiration date of C10-05, which was
approved on August 17, 2005 to permit the operation of a retirement home for individuals
62 years of age and older in accordance with Sections 31-306, 31-406 and 31-713 of the
Unified Development Ordinance.

12. Public Hearing - Conditional Use Permit Request C19-05, submitted by the
Southeastern Public Service Authority (SPSA), property owner, to permit the expansion
of a solid waste facility (Cell 7) in accordance with Sections 31-306 and 31-406 of the
Unified Development Ordinance. This item was continued from the July 18, 2007, City
Council Meeting.

Deed Book 266, at Page 183), Holy Neck Borough, Suffolk, Virginia, October 19, 2006,
prepared by Land Tech Resources, Incorporated, Recorded on October 30, 2006 as
Instrument Number 20061030000217880; and 2) Minor Subdivision Plat of Brooks
Property (Tax Parcel 51*66) as Described in Instrument #060004364, Holy Neck
Borough, Suffolk, Virginia, December 14, 2006, Prepared by Land Tech Resources,
Incorporated, Recorded on March 28, 2007 as Instrument Number 20070328000056900.
