A motion to amend the agenda to add the following items for
consideration was approved by a vote of 7-0.
A motion to appoint the following individuals as voting delegates at the
Virginia Municipal League’s 2007 Annual Conference was approved by
a vote of 7-0:
Council Member Bennett – voting delegate
Council Member Barlow – alternate voting delegate
13. Late Appearances - Guidelines for the Late Appearances period are outlined in the
City Code Section 2-96 and permit each speaker five (5) minutes to address City Council.
There is no limitation on the total time period for Late Appearances.
14. Announcements and Comments from City Council Members
A motion to refer to the Planning Commission for consideration and
recommendation, a change to the Unified Development Ordinance to
allow indoor amusement centers within the Agricultural zoning district
was approved by a vote of 7-0.
