Public Hearing - An ordinance granting Conditional Use Permit Request C28-07, submitted by Pastor Robert Fields, applicant and property owner, to permit a small Place of Worship (under 6,000 square feet in the main sanctuary) in accordance with Sections 31-306 and 31-406 of the Unified Development Ordinance Approved 8-0 12. Public Hearing - An ordinance granting Conditional Use Permit Request C10-10, submitted by Jennifer Trump of Sandy Bottom Materials, Inc., applicant, on behalf of Richard R. Harrell, property owner, to permit a surface mining operation (borrow pit) in accordance with Sections 31-306 and 31-406 of the Unified Development Ordinance This item was withdrawn by the applicant; therefore, no City Council action was taken. 13. Public Hearing - An ordinance granting Conditional Use Permit C08-11, submitted by Hector Pope of Hector’s Windows and Regulators, applicant, on behalf of Theodore R. Drake, Jr., property owner, to permit a major automotive repair shop in accordance with Sections 31-306 and 31-406 of the Unified Development Ordinance Approved 8-0 14. Public Hearing - An ordinance granting Conditional Use Permit Request C10-11, submitted by Jesse M. Erwin, Jr. and Thomas D. Erwin, applicants, on the behalf of S. L. Nusbaum Realty, property owner, to permit a pawn shop in accordance with Sections 31-306, 31-406, and 31-711 of the Unified Development Ordinance Approved 8-0 15. Ordinance - An ordinance to accept and appropriate revenues received in excess of the Fiscal Year 2010-2011 General Fund Revenue Budget for “One Time” expenditure needs of the City of Suffolk Approved with amendments 8-0 16. Ordinance - An ordinance authorizing the City Manager to execute a cooperation agreement with the Economic Development Authority (EDA) of the City of Suffolk and to appropriate funds from the General Unassigned Fund Balance for the payment of debt related to the Tidewater Community College 55 acre site property acquisition Approved 8-0 17.
