The meeting was called to order by Chairman Oaks on Wednesday, Apr\|26,2023 at the Voter Registration Office located at 440 Market Street, Suffolk, Virginia at 9:54 a.m. BUSINESS: A motion was made to go into closed session by Chairman Oaks and was seconded by Vice-Chairman Rowlands. Secretary Baker certified that only the Locality Election Security Standards (LESS) Plan would be discussed during this meeting. The motion was carried with a unanimous yes. The Board convened in closed session pursuant to exemption in Code of Virginia 2.2-3711 at 9:56 a.m. to review the Locality Election Security Standards (LESS) plan. chairman oaks motioned to adjoum the meeting at 10:56 a.m. vice-chairman Rowlands seconded the motion. Secretary Baker certified that while in closed session, the Board discussed only the Locality Election Security Standards (LESS) Plan as designated in the code of virginia 2.2-3711.
