CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT REQUEST C03-10, Mid Atlantic Recycling Transfer Facility, submitted by Marc McPherson of Mid Atlantic Recycling Solutions LLC, applicant, on behalf of Suffolk Saratoga, LLC, property owner, to permit a recycling center, in accordance with Section 31-306 and 31-406 of the Unified Development Ordinance. The affected property is located at 425 South Saratoga Street and is further identified as Tax Map 34G23, Block (4), Parcel 1 and Tax Map 34G23, Block (A), Parcels 115A and 115B, Whaleyville Voting Borough, zoned M-2, Heavy Industrial Zoning District. C. STREET VACATION REQUEST SV1-10, submitted by Gary Haste, P.E. of Associated Contracting Services, Inc., agent, on behalf of the City of Suffolk, Virginia, property owner, for the vacation of an improved right of way on a portion of Morgan Street, said portion of Morgan Street being further described as being that section beginning at the intersection of Morgan Street and Hall Avenue and extending in a southerly direction to a point located approximately 430 linear feet from said beginning. The affected adjacent properties are located at 125 and 133 Hall Avenue; 107, 113, 117, 120, 121, 122, 123, 124, and 127 Morgan Street and further identified as Tax Map 34G24(3)A, Parcels 1B,1C,1D, 1E, 1F, 1G, and 1H and Tax Map 34G24(5)A, Parcels 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, Whaleyville Voting Borough, zoned FRRD, Fairgrounds Redevelopment and Revitalization District.
