BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN ACTION COMMITTEE MEETING M ARCH 21ST, 2018 SUMMERVILLE TOWN HALL, TRAINING ROOM 9:00 A.M. Attendees: Members: Natalie Martin, John Pardee, Sarah Bares, Rick Reiff, Tara Bailey, John Mott Visitors: Bonnie Miley & Matt Halter, Jr., Town of Summerville I. Call to Order: John Pardee called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. II. Public Comments: John Mott discussed his letter to the editor, including the need to extend the Gahagan Trail south to Miles Jamison Road, which is of higher importance than extending the Sawmill Branch Trail to the north with the CSX conflict, and discussed a potential path through the Lakes of Summerville development. III. Acceptance of Minutes: Minutes from the January 2018 meeting were reviewed and approved. IV. New Business: None V. Old Business: The committee discussed upcoming roadway projects in the Town, including the Berlin G. Myers Extension construction to the Sawmill Branch Trail, the Dorchester County US 78 widening pro- ject in Ridgeville, the RRFBs on Main Street at Doty Avenue, and that the Sheep Island Road project should be open soon. The committee discussed developing a bicycle/pedestrian infrastructure list. VI. Next Meeting: It was discussed to move the May meeting due to vacations; the meeting date is to be determined. VII.
