A 24-0691 Colleagues Memorandum: Study Session on City Support for
Organizing Community Events
MOTION: Vice Mayor Srinivasan moved and Councilmember Mehlinger seconded
the motion to agendize the colleagues memorandum to hold a study session on City
support for organizing community events.

Councilmember Mehlinger proposed a study issue to study Fair Oaks traffic. Mayor
Klein, Vice Mayor Srinivasan, and Councilmembers Melton, Cisneros, Din,
Mehlinger and Sell co-sponsored the study issue.
Councilmember Mehlinger proposed a study issue to study cell phone coverage
mapping. Mayor Klein, Vice Mayor Srinivasan, and Councilmembers Melton,
Cisneros, Din, Mehlinger and Sell co-sponsored the study issue.
Councilmember Melton suggested adding disaster response planning regarding
cellular coverage to the study issue. Councilmember Mehlinger accepted the
suggestion.
Mayor Klein announced the pride flag raising at City Hall.

City Manager Kent Steffens announced the City completed the purchase of the
property at 922 E. California Avenue.
