Housing Officer Jenny Carloni introduced the item and MidPen Housing Senior
Vice President, Asset & Budget Management, Kyle Attenhofer provided a slide
presentation and answered commissioners questions.

Chair Duncan asked if anyone wished to discuss the item on the Consent
Calendar.
No members of the public wished to speak.
Chair Duncan asked for a motion or any additional discussion on the Consent
Calendar.
MOTION: Vice Chair Riviere moved and Commissioner Weiss seconded the
motion to Approve the Housing and Human Services Commission Meeting Minutes
of March 27, 2024, as submitted.
The motion carried by the following vote:

2 24-0524 Consider Approval of Draft 2024 Housing and Urban
Development (HUD) Action Plan
Housing Officer Jenny Carloni introduced the item and new Housing Programs
Analyst, Matthew Hazel who provided the staff report.
Mr. Hazel, Officer Carloni and Homeless Services Manager Amanda Sztoltz
answered questions from commissioners.
Chair Duncan opened the public hearing at 8:07 p.m.
Aris Roque asked what are some things that citizens can do to help.
Staff encouraged the public to continue to engage and participate in meetings and

public hearings during this process.
Chair Duncan closed the public hearing at 8:09 p.m.
After a lengthy discussion and additional questions of staff, Chair Duncan asked for
a motion.
MOTION: Commissioner Weiss moved and Commissioner Davis seconded the
motion to Alternative 1: Recommend that the City Council approve the 2024 HUD
Action Plan as shown in Attachment 2 of the staff report.
The motion carried by the following vote:
