CALL TO ORDER
Michelle King, Zoning Administrator, called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
Proposed Project:
SPECIAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT: to allow general alcohol
service at an existing restaurant (River Rock Tap Room) that
currently allows beer and wine.
Location: 155 South Murphy Avenue (APN: 209-06-009)
File #: 2019-7951
Zoning: DSP-2 (Downtown Specific Plan Block 2)
Applicant / Owner: Venkaiah C. Jetti (applicant) / Nicholas and
Sueanne Gera Trustee & Et Al (owner)
Environmental Review: Class 1 Categorical Exemption relieves this
project from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) provisions.
Project Planner: Momoko Ishijima, 408-730-7532,
mishijima@sunnyvale.ca.gov
Ms. King inquired with Momoko Ishijima, the project planner, if there were any
comments or changes to the staff report.
Ms. Ishijima stated that there were none.
Ms. King opened the hearing to the applicant for comment.
Mr. Venkaiah Jetti, applicant, stated that this was a general alcohol application for
his business that currently only served beer and wine.
Ms. King asked Mr. Jetti if he had read and understood the Conditions of Approval
in the report. Mr. Jetti stated he had.
Ms. King closed the hearing to the public.

ACTION: Approved subject to the findings and conditions of approval located in the
staff report.
ADJOURNMENT
