Roll Call Members Present: Carolyn Nelson-Kavajecz (Chair), Nikky Farmakes, Lindsey Graskey, Julie Urban, Amanda Korhonen, Heidi Blunt Staff Present: Becky Scherf Absent: Nick Ledin 2. 2022 Current Event Sponsorship Budget Balance Awaiting decision from Finance Committee on if Dragon Boats is approved or denied. 3. SPONSORSHIP APPLICATIONS 3.1 Porchfest at the Meteor (Requesting $300) MOTION by Urban to award $120 to cover city fees. Second by Farmakes. Approved viva voce at $120. 3.2 Wisconsin Point Land Reclamation (Requesting $2300) MOTION by Farmakes to table until 8/2 meeting to have finance committees decision re: Dragon Boats and see if the commission has the funds. Second by Graskey. 3.3 SHS Homecoming Parade (Requesting $220) MOTION by Blunt to award full requested amount of $220. Second by Graskey. Approved viva voce at $220. 4. New Business MOTION by Farmakes to hold for 8/2 meeting. Second by Graskey. Passed viva voce. Requested for next meeting for new business to be first on agenda. 5. 4th of July Recap – Labor Day reschedule Chief of Staff Scherf went over rained out events from Fourth of July and went over plans for Labor Day Pride festival.
