The meeting of the CEPA Commission was called to order by vice chair Nikky Farmakes at 1:04

2. 2022 Current Event Sponsorship Budget Balance
Dragon Boats passed. Less than 2k left in budget considering Ice Festival but that number can be
flexible.

One of the primary goals of the Festival Committee is to support events with operational/logistical
costs. What operational and/or logistical costs would this sponsorship be used for, if any? (e.g.
electricity, fees/permits, barricades, auxiliary police, etc.)
Payment to Indigenous Photographer ($1500) and Indigenous Videographer ($800) to
document significant historic cultural event.
