PLAN COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES CITY OF SUPERIOR Wednesday, February 16, 2022 The Plan Commission Meeting for the City of Superior was called to order by Mayor Paine at 4:07 p.m. in Board Room 201. ROLL CALL Members present: Mayor Jim Paine, Tylor Elm, Lindsey Graskey, Dennis Dalbec, Brent Fennessey, Brian Finstad, Anne Porter Members excused: Anthony Sclavi, Dave Strum Staff present: Jason Serck, Allison Johnson Others present: Brady McDonough There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The Chair asked if there were any objections to approving the minutes, being none the body unanimously approved the minutes of January 19, 2022. NEW BUSINESS 1. Review and approval of Vacant to Value: New Construction application for 2017 Maryland Avenue. V2VNC 22-02 MOTION by Commissioner Dalbec, seconded by Elm, and carried to unanimously approve the Vacant to Value: New Construction application for 2017 Maryland Avenue. OTHER BUSINESS Serck informed the commissioners that staff is working on an ordinance change that would allow for mixed-use development in some of our manufacturing districts. This will come in lieu of a larger zoning rewrite, which is still planned for later this year. Language for the ordinance change will be presented at next month’s meeting.
