TOURISM DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION Minutes April 16th, 2024 Meeting The meeting was called to order by Chair Lindsey Graskey at 4:18PM on March 6th, 2024 in Government Center Room 204. 1 ROLL CALL PRESENT: Lindsey Graskey (Chair), Pattie Soliday (Vice-Chair), Trisha Hecimovich VIRTUAL: Mark Johnson ABSENT: CITY STAFF PRESENT: COS Rebecca Scherf OTHERS PRESENT: John Ramos 2 APPROVAL OF MINUTES 3 NEW BUSINESS 3.1 Presentation from John Shepard – Hamline University Center for Global Environmental Education re: Tourism focused kiosks Presentation from John Shepard. Discussion held. No action taken. 3.2 Renewal of SWIM Creative Contract MOTION by Soliday, second by Hecimovich to award SWIM Creative a 3 year contract renewal. MOTION passes. SWIM Creative to come at next meeting and give presentation on their plans to agree on an amount based on projections and plans. 4 OLD BUSINESS 4.1 Homegrown Update COS Scherf gave update. No action taken. 5 RECURRING BUSINESS 5.1 Confirm Next Meeting Time Next meeting confirmed for May 6th at 4:15PM. 6 ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned by Chair Graskey at 5:08PM.
