Excused absences: Chris Beck (Chair), Ami Gadhia, and Troy Jacobs. Next 7 pm on December 15, 2022, on Zoom. meeting: 1. October Minutes Approved • The minutes from the EPC meeting of 20 October were circulated to committee members via email on 20 October and there were no comments. 2. TKPK Stormwater Management (Public Works Director Daryl Braithwaite) • Ms. Braithwaite made the attached presentation and took questions. 3. Reports on recent developments from the TKPK, County, and State County - Mr. Fleming reported the following items: • The County will soon be hiring a new Outreach Coordinator and once on-board Mr. Fleming will introduce them to the EPC. • Current messaging is focused on the cold and flu season and encouraging residents to get their COVID booster. • Registration for Teen CERT (14 or Grade 9 and above) is now open. • Mr. Fleming described the support the County is giving to victims of the Quince Orchard Boulevard gas explosion, including the provision of navigators to help them find the social services and support they need. City - Mr. Hardy reported the following items: • The City is doing similar winter messaging in its outreach, including focusing on the safe use of generators. • Mr. Hardy gave a demonstration of the water level monitoring system and there was discussion about how this could be used for alerts, road closures, and the importance of creating physical barriers to stop people from driving on flooded road. • The City has approved funding for 250 fridge magnets, which have been ordered. A budget request is being prepared for more and Mr. Hardy asked the EPC to consider how many might be needed for future outreach. 4. Meeting closed at 20:35. 5.
