Maguire – Pres. of Council CALL TO ORDER: Pres. of Council Maguire called the Council Committee meeting of 6-24-13 to order at 7:00 p.m. ROLL CALL: Mr. Sarver, Mrs. Kilway, Mrs. Ray, Mr. Sisak, Mr. Donovan, Mr. Stalnaker, Mr. Maguire, – present. Also present were Mayor Kline, Dir. of Finance Shanafelt, Dir. of Law Raber, Dir. of Public Service Esler and Economic Developer Loughry. COMMUNITY INPUT: Pres. of Council: Tonight we are meeting for our Council Committee meeting. We will not vote on any legislation tonight. The committees will be called on to discuss legislation before that respective committee. If anybody would like to address City Council on something that is not legislation that is before us; you are welcome to come forward at this time. No one responded. PUBLIC HEARINGS: None. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Acting Pres. of Council: I was happy to read in the Express that one of our colleagues, Gene Stalnaker, was honored and it sounded like it was quite an honor at the University of Akron.
