Donovan – Pres. of Council CALL TO ORDER: Pres. of Council Donovan called the Council Committee meeting of 7-7-14 to order at 7:00 p.m. ROLL CALL: Mr. Rensel, Ms. Tricaso, Mrs. Ray, Mr. Sisak, Mr. Stalnaker and Mr. Donovan – present. Also present were Mayor Kline, Dir. of Pub. Service, Dir. of Law Raber, Dir. of Finance Shanafelt and Economic Developer Loughry. Mrs. Kilway was excused. COMMUNITY INPUT: Pres. of Council: Tallmadge City Council meets on the second and fourth Thursday’s of the month and the preceding Monday’s. Monday meetings are our Committee meetings where we discuss legislation and Thursday’s are our business meetings where we act on the legislation. We do allow time for anyone to address Council and so you are welcome to do so. No one responded. PUBLIC HEARINGS: None. ANNOUNCEMENTS: None. AMEND/ADOPT 3-0 Authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Tallmadge, City of Munroe Falls and Learning for Life for the Creation of a Law Enforcement Career Exploring Program and providing for immediate enactment. PLANNING & ZONING Craig Sisak – Chair Kim Ray – Vice Chair Carol Kilway Ordinance 59-2014 At 3rd Reading. ADOPT 2-0 Authorizing the creation and acceptance of a cross easement for access and utilities between the City of Tallmadge and West Avenue Family Practice Land LLC for adjacent properties including 125 West Avenue and providing for immediate enact- ment. Ordinance 60-2014 At 3rd Reading. ADOPT 2-0 Authorizing the creation and acceptance of an ease- ment at 111, 125, and 145 West Avenue and providing for immediate enactment. Ordinance 61-2014 At 3rd Reading. P.H. ON 7-10-14 @ 7:03 P.M. Amending Ordinance 106-2012, Ordinance 26-1981, P&Z REC. The Council Committee meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m. Mayor: I know that Council has adjourned, but there will be a concert this Saturday and we will tell you about that on Thursday. It is also a movie night on the Circle and that has not been publicized that well and so I wanted to bring it up tonight so you could say . . . “Crudes” is the movie I believe. sb 2
