COUNCIL OF THE WHOLE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES MONDAY, JANUARY 11, 2016 – 7:00 P.M. IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS ************** Committee of the Whole James M. Donovan – Pres. of Council CALL TO ORDER: Pres. of Council Donovan called the Council Committee meeting of 1-11-16 to order at 7:01 p.m. ROLL CALL: Mr. Rensel, Ms. Tricaso, Mrs. Kilway, Mrs. Ray, Mr. Sisak, Mr. Stalnaker and Mr. Donovan – present. Also present were Mayor Kline, Dir. of Pub. Service Esler, Dir. of Law Raber, and Dir. of Finance Gilbride. COMMUNITY INPUT: Pres. of Council: Tallmadge City Council meets on the second and fourth Thursday’s of the month for the Regular council meetings and the preceding Monday’s are the Council Committee meetings. At the Committee meetings, legislation is discussed thoroughly with Council deciding to adopt, amend, reject, hold or table the legislation. We do allow time for community input at this point in the meeting if there is anybody who would like to address Council, please come forward and state your name and address. No one responded. PUBLIC HEARINGS: None. ANNOUNCEMENTS: None. Pres. of Council: We have a couple of new faces from the newspapers and I would just like to say hello to Angel . . . ADOPT 3-0 Authorizing the Mayor to enter into Learning Partnership with Columbia Southern University and Waldorf College and providing for immediate enactment.
