COUNCIL OF THE WHOLE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES MONDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2016 – 7:00 P.M. IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS ************** Committee of the Whole James M. Donovan – Pres. of Council CALL TO ORDER: Vice Pres. of Council Kilway called the Council Committee meeting of 12-5-16 to order at 7:00 p.m. We are waiting on our President of Council. He arrived at 7:01 p.m. Pres. of Council: Kim is also on her way. ROLL CALL: Ms. Tricaso, Mrs. Kilway, Mr. Sisak, Mr. Stalnaker and Mr. Donovan – present. Also present were Mayor Kline, Dir. of Finance Gilbride, Dir. of Law Raber and Economic Developer Weinberg. Mrs. Ray arrived late and Mr. Rensel was absent. COMMUNITY INPUT: Pres. of Council: Tallmadge City Council meets on the second and fourth Thursday’s of the month for the Regular Council meeting and the preceding Monday’s are the Council Committee meetings. At the Committee meetings, legislation is discussed thoroughly with Council deciding to adopt, amend, reject, hold or table the legislation. We do allow time for community input at this point in the meeting if anybody would like to address Council, please come forward and state your name and address. No one responded. PUBLIC HEARINGS: None. ANNOUNCEMENTS: There will be a Board of Control meeting along with an Investment Board meeting after the meeting this evening. Adopting a budget for various funds of the ADOPT 3-0 City of Tallmadge, Ohio, for current expenses and other expenditures during fiscal year ending December 31, 2017, appropriating the necessary funds for the administration thereof, authorizing transfers between funds, and providing for imme- diate enactment. Ordinance 88-2016 At 2nd Reading. ADOPT 3-0 Authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agree- ment with Power Tool Repair Inc. for a New Jobs Program Grant pursuant to T.C.O. 160.05 and providing for immediate enactment.
