Members present upon roll call were: Carlson, Clendenin, Miranda, and Maniscalco, constituting a quorum. Councilmember Hurtak and Viera appeared remotely, and Henderson being absent. Martin Shelby, Council Attorney, was in attendance. Charline Soto Quintana, recording secretary for these proceedings. The minutes were recorded and prepared by Suling Lucas, Deputy City Clerk. Motion: (Clendenin-Carlson) That Council allows Councilmembers Viera and Hurtak to appear remotely. Motion carried unanimously by voice roll call vote of 6-0 with Henderson being absent . Motion: (Miranda-Clendenin) That Council moves to open all public hearings. File No. TA/CPA 24-11 Motion: (Clendenin-Miranda) That Council be requested to remove File No. TA/CPA 24-11 from the September 26, 2024 at 5:01 p.m. adoption public hearing. File No. TA/CPA 24-08 Motion: (Clendenin-Miranda) That Council be requested to set an adoption hearing for File No. TA/CPA-24-08 on November 21, 2024, at 5:01 p.m., and direct the Legal Department to provide the City Clerk with the form of notice for advertising the public hearing. File No. E2024-48 Motion: (Viera-Clendenin) That Council be requested to present a commendation to Carlos Carrillo, Coco’s Latin Cuisine; further, that said commendation be presented off-site.
