Chapter 44 Section 33B, the statutory deadline for year-end transfers is July 15th of the succeeding fiscal year. The adherence to this deadline is also an actionable item from the September 2021 DOR/DLS Financial Management Review. In order to meet this deadline, I am requesting to be placed on the Committee on Finance and Salaries meeting agenda for July 12, 2022. I will provide copies of the proposed transfers prior to said meeting, once figures are finalized following the approvals of the July 5th, 2022 warrants. If driving east on Washburn Street the roadway curves to the right in front of 43 Washburn Street. If a vehicle is parked in this curved area it leaves only only a five foot wide lane. This causes motorists to cross to the other side if the roadway while attempting to go around the parked vehicle. I recommend a NO PARKING ordinance From curb cut to curb cut in front of 43 Washburn Street. I also recommend that if the ordinance is adopted that NO PARKING signs be place in this location. That distance is approximately 64 feet on the south side of Washburn Street. This ordinance will make this portion of Washburn Street safer for motorists. Blackbird Lane Pole 6 Blackbird Lane Taunton, MA 02780 The recommendation is to add (1) street light at the intersection of Blackbird Lane and Mockingbird Way. This is in conformance with the City of Taunton Street Light Policy. • Estimate cost is $4.75 per month ($4.75 x 1). • This does not include fuel adjustment credit. It is requested that this street lighting report be presented to the Municipal Council for approval of the energy services.
