SPECIAL TAYLORVILLE CITY COUNCIL MEETING Wednesday, July 1, 2020 At the Special Council Meeting held in the Council Chambers by the City Council, July 1, 2020 the following proceedings were held and entered in this record in the following words and figures to wit: ____________________________________ __________________________________ City Clerk Mayor The Mayor called the meeting to order at 5:30 P.M. Roll Call - Aldermen Bryant, Budd, Dorchinecz, Driskell, Lanzotti, Olive, and Skultety were present. Alderman Burtle was absent. Also present were Mayor Barry, City Clerk Julie Lilly, City Treasurer Jacque Nation, and Fire Chief Adermann. AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING LEASE AGREEMENTS WITH TAYLORVILLE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT Mayor Barry opened the meeting and noted the only agenda item was the Ordinance Authorizing Lease Agreements with Taylorville Fire Protection District (re: 2020 Pierce Enforcer Rescue- Pumper fire engine truck and 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe). The Fire Protection District has purchased both vehicles; the vehicles will be leased to the City for the sum of $1.00. The lease for the fire truck will expire July 1, 2030. The City will provide all maintenance and insurance for both vehicles. The truck will be picked up on Thursday; Tahoe is already at Fire House. Both vehicles have been added to the insurance policy for the City. Motion by Alderman Dorchinecz and seconded by Alderman Bryant to approve Ordinance No. 3971 – An Ordinance Authorizing Lease Agreements with Taylorville Fire Protection District (re: 2020 Pierce Enforcer Rescue-Pumper fire engine truck and 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe). Roll Call – Aldermen Bryant, Budd, Dorchinecz, Driskell, Lanzotti, Olive, and Skultety, along with Mayor Barry, voted YEA. The Mayor announced the motion carried. Motion by Alderman Bryant and seconded by Alderman Olive to adjourn. Motion carried (7- 0). The meeting adjourned at 5:36 P.M.
