Burnett Trust) Resolution – re: Airbnb Voluntary Collection Agreement Motion to extend the remaining summer help to the maximum limit of 599 hours to be paid out of the 2% Utility Tax Ward Money Motion to remove freeze on 2% Utility Tax Ward Spending Oath of Office - Cemetery Sexton Mike Tennant City Attorney Updates Mayor Updates COMMITTEE REPORTS Discussions and/or Motions to approve/adopt and/or deny and/or table and/or amend and/or refer to an appropriate Committee in whole or in part the matters regarding the following subject matters discussed at the Committee level: Emergency Services – Motion to recommend to the City Council to allow Fire Chief Adermann to proceed with Preventative Maintenance with McQueen and any necessary repairs on Engine 1 Motion to recommend to the City Council to allow Fire Chief Adermann to purchase two Knox boxes from Knox at a cost not to exceed $3,200.00 Personnel - Motion to recommend to the City Council to hire one additional Police Officer for the Police Department Motion to recommend to the City Council to bid and/or advertise (1) Full-time Dispatcher in the Police Department Lake/Airport – Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the money collected from adding a second camper to Lake Lots to be transferred by Treasurer Nation to the Lake Restoration Fund Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the request for the Tent Camping Area to be relocated to the original location Water/Environmental – Motion to recommend to the City Council to authorize and direct the Mayor to sign Pay Request #32 from Plocher Construction in the amount of $259,112.29 for work on the New Water Treatment Plant and forward the request to IEPA Low Interest Loan Program for disbursement and approve payment of same pending receipt of disbursement from IEPA, this conditioned upon receipt of signed mechanics lien waivers in this amount and recommendation by the Project Engineer that the work has been satisfactorily performed and getting final lien waivers upon City Attorney’s approval Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve purchase of the two Carbon Slurry Feed pumps from Hydro-Kinetics for a price not to exceed $16,270.00 plus freight Motion to recommend the City Council to approve the annual service agreement with HACH for a price not to exceed $5,686.00 Motion to approve and/or ratify payment of bills ($273,707.08) • Per subparagraph (g) of 5 ILCS 120/2.06, this portion of the City Council Meeting is reserved for any person wishing to address the Council on any relevant subject matters concerning the City. The Illinois Open Meetings Act (5 ILCS 120/1 et seq.) mandates NO action shall be taken on subject matters not listed on the agenda, but the Council may direct staff to address the topic or refer the subject matter to a future Council and/or Committee Meeting. If anyone wishes to address the Council, please provide your name and address, limit your comments or presentation to three (3) minutes, and avoid repetitious comments. Thank you.
