Tilton Village Board Meeting Minutes January 16, 2020 6:00 pm Mayor Phillips called the meeting to order, pledge was recited and roll call was taken. Trustees Barrett, Cornett, Finley and Sheets present. Trustees Washkowiak and Wear absent. Trustee Sheets made a Motion to accept the minutes of December 4, 2019 meeting and pay bills listed over $1500.00, Trustee Cornett second. All four Trustees present voted yea. All four Trustees present voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Barrett made a motion to purchase new wire for Sewer Camera from Standard Equipment for $6995.00, Trustee Sheets second. All four Trustees present voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Sheets made a motion to pay Moran Economic Development $2180.00 for work on Toyota of Danville TIF application. Trustee Finley second. All four Trustees present voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Barrett made a motion to pay $2800.00 to OSF ECI-EMS for 4 students to attend EMT-B class. Trustee Cornett second. All four Trustees present voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Sheets made a motion to pay LETAC $2,000.00 for new hire part time officer training. Trustee Cornett second. All four Trustees present voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Sheets made a motion to hire Geotech, at $6100.00, to do soil samples regarding the Sewer Improvement Project. Trustee Finley second. All four Trustees present voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Barrett made a motion to purchase 6 Stop Sticks for police Department for $2863.00. Trustee Sheets second. All four Trustees present voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Sheets made a motion for ORDINANCE 2020-0116 for vacating the alley between 311 and 313 Atwood. Trustee Cornett second. All four Trustees present voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Cornett made a motion for RESOLUTION 2020-0116 amending Sewer rates for 2022 to $30.00 base plus $5.00 for 1000 gallons past the first 750 gallons; and rates for 2023 through 2026 at $35.00 base plus $7.00 for 1000 gallons past the first 750 gallons. Trustee Sheets second. All four Trustees present voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Cornett made a motion to adjourn, Trustee Sheets second. All four Trustees present voted yea. Motion carried.
